Excited to Use Your 2 Free Night Certificates at ANY Hyatt Hotel?

Million Mile Secrets reader, Tskr, commented:

How soon do the 2 free night certificates post after meeting the spending requirements on the The Hyatt Credit Card?

The free night certificates typically post to your Hyatt loyalty account a few days after the statement close date in which you meet the spending requirement.  And you have 12 months from the date they’re issued to redeem them.

The Chase Hyatt card can be extremely valuable!  Because you can use the certificates at ANY Hyatt hotel in the world, including all-inclusive resorts like the Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos.

Her family flies almost free on Southwest all over the country, so I’ve asked her to share tips on how to enjoy Big Travel with Small Money on a family trip to Las Vegas.

Lyn:   We recently spent time in Las Vegas on our way to and from Utah, where we hiked Bryce Canyon and Zion National Parks.  Plus Grand Staircase National Monument, and 2 amazing state parks, Kodachrome Basin, and Coral Pink Sand Dunes.

We flew Southwest to Las Vegas entirely on points.  And saved money by taking advantage of free or discounted activities.

Park Hyatt New York – Detailed Review

We have a terrific team here at Million Mile Secrets, and they love Big Travel with Small Money as much as I do!  So I’ve asked them to write about travel experiences they’ve enjoyed.  And I encourage readers to drop me a note if you’d like to share your Success Story!

Jasmin:   On a business trip, Daraius sent me to the Park Hyatt New York.  I was thrilled at the opportunity, because I normally stretch my points and stay with my kids at brands that aren’t quite so luxurious!

Daraius booked me on a points & cash rate under his Hyatt account as the second guest in the room.  That way, I could enjoy his Diamond (now Globalist) elite status perks like an upgrade and free full breakfast.  Thanks, D!  😉

Will This Trick Help You Secure a Hyatt Award Stay?

Million Mile Secrets reader, Glenn, commented:

I want to book a Hyatt award stay in advance of receiving my 2 free night certificates from the Chase Hyatt card sign-up bonus.  If I book the room now with Hyatt points, would Hyatt let me cancel the reservation and rebook using the free night certificates?

I reached out to Hyatt to find out.  And it’s likely you can use this strategy to get an award stay for your desired travel dates.

Because you’ll secure the award nights using points.  Then, you can cancel the reservation and rebook using your Hyatt free night certificates.
