I showed you how to credit miles flown on an airline (that you might not fly often) to 1 of their partner airline frequent flyer programs.
By doing so, you won’t waste the miles you’ve earned in a program you’ll likely never use.
But how do you tell how many miles you’ll earn if you credit a paid ticket to a partner frequent flyer program?
You Can Credit Miles From a Paid Ticket to a Partner Airline Program You Use More Often – but How Many Will You Earn?

There are some hotel and airline chains in which you can transfer points/miles to points/miles and vice versa for 1:1 or 1:2 or better ratio.
What site can I go to to know what hotel or airline accepts transferred points/miles from other hotels or airlines?
Great question! You can NOT transfer airline miles from 1 airline to another. And you can NOT transfer hotel points between hotel programs. But it is possible to transfer hotel points to airline miles.
Let’s 1st look at transferring hotel points to airline miles. And later we can take a look at transferring airline miles to hotel points.
You Can Transfer Hotel Points to Airline Miles. But Should You?
I’ll explain how to do it. And if it’s ever a good idea to make the transfer!

United Airlines and its partner airlines such as Lufthansa fly many routes to Europe. In general, the United.com award booking page displays many routes to and from Europe, but the website doesn’t always show all available flights.
If you know which routes are available to get you across the Atlantic, you can search specifically for flights which have award seats available and which may fit your schedule better.
Remember, that you should search segment-by-segment starting with the long-haul segment over the Atlantic to get to Europe. And then find awards to your destination within Europe and from your departure city.
This post is a very detailed list of all the ways to get from the US to Europe. Please comment if anything is left out!
