You’ll earn:

  • 1 Delta mile per $1 spent on any Lyft ride (excluding taxes, fees, tolls, and tip)
  • 3 Delta miles per $1 spent on any Lyft ride (excluding taxes, fees, tolls, and tip) on rides to or from an airport Lyft serves, through August 31, 2017

Plus, if you’re a new Lyft rider, you’ll earn $20 in ride credits (2 X $10 per ride) when you sign-up for Lyft account through Delta’s link.

Step 1.   Enter Your Delta Account Details

Enter your name and Delta frequent flyer number.

Step 2.   Connect Your Lyft Account

You’ll be prompted to sign-in to your Lyft account using your phone number or Facebook.

Step 3.   Verify and Connect Accounts

If you’re a new Lyft user, your $20 in credits should be applied when you download the Lyft app and request your first rides.

Double-Dip to Earn More Miles!

Don’t forget to link your Lyft account to a credit card that earns bonus miles and points on travel!

For example, the Chase Sapphire Reserve earns 3X Chase Ultimate Rewards points on travel, including commuter transportation like Lyft.  Or use your Chase Sapphire Preferred to earn 2X Chase Ultimate Rewards points.

And folks with the Chase Ink Business Preferred can earn 3X Chase Ultimate Rewards points on travel (on up to $150,000 in purchases per year, combined with other bonus categories).

Or consider the Citi ThankYou Premier, which earns 3X Citi ThankYou Points on travel, including Lyft.

Plus, certain cards, like the Chase Freedom and Discover it sometimes include commuter transportation in their rotating 5X points / 5% cash back categories.
