We are going to Disney this June and could use a gift card. We look forward to seeing Mickey.

  3. Tip is go overseas. Intl Disney’s are half the price of US Disney.

Would love to buy my 9, 8 and 6 year olds something speacial at Disney this fall 🙂

My tip is to save money by buying Disney vacation club points from a broker and using that to save huge money when booking your Disney hotel stay

  5. Before buying your Disney tickets run the numbers. You may get a better deal with the Annual Pass. If staying off property, parking is free with the Annual Pass, a savings of $20 per day. They are also offering a 20% discount at many restaurants on the property for a limited time, another savings if used correctly. Park Hopping at no cost. If you are planning 2 trips in one year, make sure that you plan the second trip before your Annual Pass expires and you will start to see the savings really add up. Make sure you take into consideration all the savings you get with Annual Pass versus the cost of your regular Disney ticket when evaluating the best choice.

  6. Over the past 5 years my wife and I received $1600 in Chase Disney gift cards. This $200 will help us get a 7 day FREE Disney vacation including the meal plan for 2 adults and 2 teens this September. Airfare is free thanks to Citi Cards and American Airlines.

  7. Bring a backpack as you can bring your own water

    1. Feel like a kid again and stay at the Toy Story Hotel
    2. Dine with Disney characters in the castle at the Royal Banquet Hall
    3. See Broadway’s “The Lion King” in Mandarin

  9. The Segway tour is Amazing!

Shenandoah Valley is one of the most beautiful places in Virginia. The mountains are breath-taking. I promise you’ll have a good time taking in all scenic views. I live and breathe them every day.

  11. Park hopper pass a must. Gives you options to go to other parks in the same day,

  12. Buy Disney gift cards at Kroger this weekend while gift card sales earn 4x gas points. 14% ROI if you fully use the gas points!

  13. Pack a small cooler to bring you own food, drinks & snacks. Stop at the dollar store before entering the parks to grab glowsticks, souvenirs, fans, etc. so your kids won’t beg for the overpriced offerings once inside the park. 🙂 Definitely research ahead of your visit but don’t stress over touring plans…go with the flow and ENJOY!

  14. To save money we schedule a character breakfast like O’Hana’s or Chef Mickey at the latest sitting making it a brunch instead of breakfast.

  15. Evaluate what you really want to see. I enjoyed EPCOT more than Disney. Look for discounted Disney Gift Cards and check sites like Undercover Tourist.

  16. Go to Magic Kingdom at night if possible.

  17. Disney world, Orlando

  18. We are going to go to Disney this October and your blog has helped us gear up for this trip. We have our Southwest points used up for 6 round trip flights (thanks Southwest card!) and a few rooms booked using our Hilton HHonors points. Phew! Now only to save $$ for the parks! We would love a gift card. Thank you for your inspiring blog! My husband and I have learned a lot.

  19. Going to Disney for the first time with 2.5 yrs old in October!

  20. The magic of Disney. Where you can feel like a kid, along with your kids!

  21. The $200 would go towards our dining in Disney for the trip we are doing this fall.

  22. Foodie Tip: Go during Epcot’s Food & Wine Festival! Awesome array of food, demostrations, and specials. Food stands outside each country offer smaller portions (at smaller prices, too!), so you can eat your way around the world!

Also, download the Disney app to reserve your Fast Pass time!

  23. We always stay on site when we go to Disney. The moderately priced resorts can be found for almost the same price as a value resort and are much nicer-watch for discounts on sites like Orbitz. Disney provides free transport directly from the airport to the resort and with free transport to parks I don’t need to rent a car. We take advantage of the free activities at the beautifully landscaped resorts as well as early entry and late closing. You also get free transport back to the airport and they take care of luggage!!!

  24. thanks!

  25. Use the Disney Vacation Account to earn even more money for your disney vacations.

  26. It would be great to rekindle those childhood Disneyland memories!

  27. If at Disneyland eat at the cafe next to Blue Bayou cafe. Same great menu (including the famous monte cristo) but a much smaller price.
