More About the Chase Marriott Card

Link:   Marriott Rewards® Premier Credit Card

When you sign-up for the Chase Marriott Premier Rewards card and spend $5,000 on purchases within the first 3 months of opening your account, you’ll earn 100,000 Marriott points.

Other perks of this card include:

And  you’ll earn an additional 7,500 bonus Marriott points when you add an authorized user and make a purchase within the first 3 months of opening your account.

The $85 annual fee is NOT waived for the first year.

Note:   You are NOT eligible to receive a new Chase cardmember sign-up bonus if you’ve received a bonus on the same card in the past 24 months.  And because of Chase’s “5/24 rule,” if you’ve opened ~5+ cards from any bank (except these business cards) in the past 24 months, it’s unlikely you’ll be approved for most Chase cards.  Including the Chase Marriott card.

Bottom Line

Because of the newly improved offer on the Marriott card, I took a look at terrific hotels in Europe that are ideal for 5+ night stays.

You can earn 100,000 Marriott points after spending $5,000 on purchases within the first 3 months of opening a new Chase Marriott Premier card.  (The previous offer was 80,000 points.)

You’ll earn another 7,500 bonus Marriott points when you add an authorized user and make a purchase within the same timeframe.

The sign-up bonus of 100,000 Marriott points is enough for 5 nights at places like the Renaissance Paris Hippodrome de St. Cloud Hotel.  Or 7 nights at the Courtyard Budapest City Center.
