Through November 30, 2016, you can earn 4X Air Canada Aeroplan miles for your Choice Hotel stay.  Usually, you earn 250 Aeroplan miles per stay at Choice Hotels.  But with this deal, you’ll earn 1,000 Air Canada Aeroplan miles (250 Aeroplan miles X 4) per stay.

There’s no limit to the number of bonus Aeroplan miles you can earn.  But you must provide your Air Canada Aeroplan membership number at check-in.  Or choose Aeroplan as your earning preference through your Choice Hotels rewards account before your stay.

Choice Hotels in certain countries are excluded from this offer.  Check here for the offer details.

Air Canada is a member of Star Alliance, which means you can use Aeroplan miles to book flights on any Star Alliance partner, including United Airlines and Lufthansa.  But keep in mind, you’ll usually pay fuel surcharges depending on the airline and route.

2.   Club Carlson

With this deal, you can earn double points or double night credit towards elite status at Club Carlson hotels through December 31, 2016.

To qualify, you must register for the promotion and choose either points or nights before checkout of your first stay.  You can NOT change your choice once you register.

Plus, the deal is only good for up to 20 stays during the promotional period.  Most folks will likely do best earning double points instead of working towards elite status.  Unless you stay a LOT at Club Carlson hotels.

3.   Country Inn & Suites (Club Carlson)

With Country Inns & Suites “Holiday Free Night Offer,” you can earn a free night certificate for 2+ night stays at over 470 hotels in the US, Canada, Mexico, and Central & South America.

The deal is valid for stays through December 31, 2016.  And you can use the free night certificate anytime between January 1, 2017, and March 10, 2017.  But you must book your qualifying stay at least 3 days in advance.

Plus, the “Holiday Free Night Offer” rate might be slightly higher than other discount rates, so check to make sure you’re getting the best deal.

Earn 10,000 Bonus IHG Points for a 3+ Night Stay at the Holiday Inn Club Vacations at Orange Lake Resort in Orlando

You’ll pay an extra $7 per night to earn the bonus, but 10,000 IHG points is enough for a free night at Category 1 IHG hotel.   Or 2 nights at an IHG PointBreaks hotel.

Million Mile Secrets team member Jasmin stayed at the Holiday Inn Club Vacations at Orange Lake Resort in Orlando last year with her family.  She liked having a full kitchen, living, and dining room.  Because being able to cook in their villa was a great way to save money.

Bottom Line

With promotions from hotels like Club Carlson, IHG, and Holiday Inn Club Vacations, you can earn perks like bonus hotel points, airline miles, and free night certificates!

Usually, you’ll have to register for the deal to qualify, and there may be minimum stay requirements.  But taking advantage of these deals might make sense, especially if you can find a qualifying hotel that fits your travel plans!
