With Wyndham’s Vacation Rental network, you can now use your Wyndham points for award nights at over 17,000 homes and condos all over the world.  And they plan to continue adding locations through 2018!

This gives folks with Wyndham points more options to redeem Wyndham points, and makes your points valuable.

While stays at Wyndham hotels normally cost 15,000 Wyndham points per night, you’ll be charged 15,000 Wyndham points PER ROOM, PER NIGHT, for award stays at their vacation rental locations.

So, for example, a 1-bedroom home will cost 15,000 Wyndham points per night, a 2-bedroom will cost 30,000 Wyndham points, and so on.  And different rentals will have different minimum stay requirements, like you normally find when renting a vacation home.

You can however search for places on Wyndham’s site.

There’s no official policy yet regarding how award nights will be made available.

Wyndham also says Wyndham Rewards members will be able to book stays at Wyndham’s vacation rentals up to 9 months in advance.  And they plan to allow folks to earn points for stays at participating vacation rentals in mid-2017 too!

  1. Some of their resorts require a minimum stay of 2 nights.

  2. You didn’t mention how to get a Wyndham bonus point card.(?)

  3. @phil – Yes the minimum stay requirements vary by property, so that’s something to be aware of when searching!

  4. Hopefully this is the start of a trend. I love Airbnb and hostels, as the hosts are able to provide a more authentic local experience. Hipcamp will be my next exploration. DUE to this post I will keep my eye on the Wyndham program and cards. Thank you again!
