Through the American Airlines shopping portal, you can earn 40 American Airlines miles per $1 you spend at Magazines.com.

This is a cheap and easy way to top off your American Airlines miles balance, compared to buying directly from American Airlines.

And this spending will count towards the current American Airlines shopping portal promotion.  Through October 18, 2016, you can earn 500 bonus American Airlines miles when you spend $200+.

But if you’re looking for more than 20,000 American Airlines miles, it might make sense to purchase miles directly.  Because American Airlines is currently offering a bonus when you purchase miles!

If you don’t need magazines, remember you can always donate the magazines you buy to waiting rooms, schools, or hospitals so they don’t go to waste.

Bottom Line

For a limited time, you can earn 40 American Airlines miles per $1 you spend at Magazines.com through the American Airlines shopping portal.

United Airlines had a similar promotion last week, which only lasted 1 day.  So act quickly, if you’d like to take part in the promotion!

Remember, there are plenty of other ways to earn American Airlines miles!
