Lots of popular travel rewards cards, like the Chase Sapphire Preferred, are Visa Signature cards.

You must book by December 31, 2016, and compete your stay by March 31, 2017.

In addition to the free night, you’ll get a $75 Visa gift card if you book by November 30, 2016, for stays through February 28, 2017.

Is This Hilton Discount Good Deal?

This could be a great deal, especially if you already had a stay planned at one of the participating luxury hotels.

And if you already have a reservation at one of the hotels included in the deal, re-booking your stay to take advantage of the savings is a no-brainer.

Of course, the pricier the hotel, the more you’ll save.  But using this deal for a weekend trip or to extend an award stay could definitely be worth it.

For example, you could treat yourself and your family at the end of a trip to Disney World.

You could use hotel points or find an affordable hotel for the first few nights.  Then spend the last 2 nights of your trip at the fancy Waldorf Astoria Orlando.

This hotel gets excellent reviews on TripAdvisor, and is less than a 15-minute drive from Walt Disney World.

You Can See the Fireworks at Disney World From the Waldorf Astoria Orlando!

I found rooms here in November 2016, for ~$374 per night, including taxes and fees.

So using this deal, you’ll save nearly $375 off a 2 night stay.  PLUS, you’ll get a $75 Visa gift card, effectively bringing the cost of 2 nights to only $300 ($375 – $75), or $150 per night.

That’s a great deal for an otherwise pricey hotel like this!

And don’t forget, you’ll also get perks like late check-out, room upgrades, and a $25 food and beverage certificate.  This makes the deal even sweeter!

Emily and I have stayed a few of the hotels on the list, including the Waldorf Astoria Rome Cavalieri, Conrad Hong Kong, and the Conrad Maldives Rangali Island.  You can read our trip reports if you’re considering any of those hotels.

Want to Extend Your Hilton Stay?

If you want to stay longer but don’t want to spend a lot more money, you could use Hilton points to extend your stay.

Or, if you’re traveling with a friend or loved one who also has a Visa Signature or Infinite card, they could book an additional 2+ nights with their card.

And don’t forget!  You can use this deal in combination with Hilton’s current Double Up 2016 Promotion to earn even more Hilton points for your next trip.

Want More Hilton Points?

I’ve written about all the ways to earn Hilton points.

For example, you’ll earn Hilton points after completing minimum spending with the sign-up bonuses from:

Bottom Line for This Hilton Discount

When you use a Visa Signature or Visa Infinite card to book 2+ nights at select luxury Hilton brand hotels by December 31, 2016, through the Visa Luxury Hotels portal or Visa Signature Concierge, you’ll get your 2nd night FREE!  The deal is good for stays through March 31, 2017.

And if you book by November 30, 2016, you’ll also get a $75 Visa gift card if you complete your stay by February 28, 2016.

Plus, you can enjoy perks like a $25 food and beverage voucher and late check-out!

This could be a great deal for folks, especially if you already planned a stay at one of the qualifying hotels.

And if you already booked 2+ nights at one of the participating hotels, you can re-book your reservation to take advantage of the savings.

Depending on the nightly price of the hotel, this deal could save you hundreds of dollars!
