I’ll explain how to get this deal.  And help you decide whether it makes sense for you!

Buy Discounted Hilton Points

Hilton points usually cost 1 cent per point.  But with this deal, you can buy points for as little as 0.5 cents per point (with a 50% discount).

It’s worth checking your account to see what discount you’ve been targeted to receive.  Especially if you need to top off your Hilton account for an upcoming stay!

You must purchase your discounted points by September 16, 2016.  And you can buy up to 80,000 Hilton points per calendar year.

Hilton hotels include DoubleTree, Canopy, Conrad, Curio, Embassy SuitesHampton InnHiltonHilton Garden InnHome2SuitesHomewood Suites, and Waldorf Astoria brand hotels.

Is This a Good Deal?

I like to stay at Hilton hotels for free using Hilton points I earn with credit cards.  But buying discounted points could be a good way to save on paid stays at expensive Hilton hotels.  Or to save money if you’re just short of enough points for an award night.

In Certain Cases, Buying Points Is Cheaper Than Paying the Cash Price for a Room

Sometimes buying the points you need for a hotel stay can be cheaper than paying cash!

For example, I found nights in October 2016, at the top-category Waldorf Astoria Jerusalem for ~$597 or 80,000 Hilton points per night.

Buying 80,000 Hilton points with a 50% discount for $400 would save you nearly ~$200!

Keep in mind, buying hotel points is NOT always a great deal.

But Sometimes It’s Not

For example, rooms at the Hampton Inn Cleveland Downtown in October 2016, cost ~$140 or 30,000 Hilton points If you bought 30,000 points with a 50% discount, you’d pay $150 (30,000 points X 0.5 cents per point). Always make sure you’re getting the best deal!  After all, it’s about Big Travel with Small Money! 🙂
