How hard is it to find 6 award nights in a row if I wanted to use the complimentary nights from the Chase Ritz-Carlton card at The Ritz-Carlton, Kapalua in Maui?

Great question TravellerAtoZ!

It’s possible to find and book 6 nights in a row at The Ritz-Carlton, Kapalua, or any other Ritz-Carlton Tier 1 through 4 hotel, with the complimentary night certificates from the Chase Ritz-Carlton card.  But you’ll have to search for open award nights online.

I’ll show you how to search for your complimentary nights and whether The Ritz-Carlton, Kapalua has lots of nights available!

The Chase Ritz-Carlton card now offers 3 complimentary nights at Tier 1 through 4 Ritz-Carlton hotels after spending $5,000 on purchases within the first 3 months of account opening.

And if you and a friend or loved one both earned the sign-up bonus from the card, you could have 6 complimentary night certificates to use!

Note:   Even if you’re not eligible for other Chase cards because you’ve opened 5+ new cards in the past 24 monthsyou’re still eligible for the Ritz-Carlton card.

But is it easy to find 6 award nights in a row at popular Ritz-Carlton hotels like The Ritz-Carlton, Kapalua in Maui?

Let’s take a look!  I’ll use The Ritz-Carlton, Kapalua in my example.

To look for nights to use your complimentary stay certificates, search for award nights like you normally would online.  Any night that you can buy with Ritz-Carlton points, you can buy with your complimentary night certificates.

First, go to the hotel’s page online and click “Reserve Now.”

Start Your Award Night Search From the Homepage of The Ritz-Carlton, Kapalua

From there, you’ll be able to enter your trip information.  If you’re searching for a 6-night stay, like TravellerAtoZ asked about, enter any 6-night timeframe in the search.

Be sure to check the “My Dates Are Flexible” and “Use My Rewards Points” boxes.  And you’ll be able to see available award nights for the next 11 months.

You’ll Be Able to See Every Available Check-In Date for Each Month When You Search for Flexible Dates

From there, you can click through each month to see if you can book the dates you want.

I found a lot of open award nights in September, November, and December 2016, for 6-night stays at The Ritz-Carlton, Kapalua.  And because these nights are able to be booked with Ritz-Carlton points, they’re also bookable with the complimentary night certificates from the Chase Ritz-Carlton card!

In November 2016, there are award nights available over Thanksgiving week.

Or TravellerAtoZ could use their complimentary night certificates for a stay over Christmas and New Years!

TravellerAtoZ Could Check-In Before or After Christmas and Stay All the Way Through New Years at The Ritz-Carlton, Kapalua in Maui!

Once you choose your check-in day, you’ll be asked if you want to use the complimentary night certificates during checkout.

Just remember, if you’re using the complimentary night certificates from 2 different Ritz-Carlton accounts, you’ll have to book the stays separately.  And then call the hotel directly to see if you can keep the same room for the entire stay.

Here are all 76 hotels where you can stay with the certificates from the sign-up bonus.

Want More Ritz-Carlton Points?

If you don’t have enough complimentary night certificates, you could use your certificates for a couple of nights then pay for the rest of your stay with Ritz-Carlton points.

Don’t forget, you can also transfer Chase Ultimate Rewards points to Ritz-Carlton instantly at a 1:1 ratio if you have the Chase Sapphire Preferred, Ink Plus, or Ink Bold (no longer available) card.

And if you have the Chase Freedom, Freedom Unlimited, or Ink Business Cash Credit Card, you can combine their points and transfer to Ritz-Carlton as long as you have 1 of the other cards!

Bottom Line

When you find award nights at Ritz-Carlton Tier 1 through 4 hotels you can book with Ritz-Carlton points, you can also book them with the complimentary night certificates from the Chase Ritz-Carlton card.

And you can search for flexible dates for stays of any length of time online, up to 11 months in advance.

If you don’t have enough complimentary night certificates to cover your stay, you could pay for extra nights with Ritz-Carlton points.

You could also consider Chase cards that earn Chase Ultimate Rewards points you can transfer to Ritz-Carlton points at a 1:1 ratio.  Like the Chase Sapphire Preferred or Ink Plus.

Thanks again for the question, TravellerAtoZ!  I hope you’re able to find the nights you want at the The Ritz-Carlton, Kapalua!
