  29. Skymiles is great, my wife and I just visited my brother’s family using points and it was the least use of points out of all the airlines! 🙂

  30. Delta is my go-to airline.

  31. We applied for Delta cc last year with the same AmEx promotions quite generous (50K bonus and first year fee waived). So we got a little over 100K points for each spouse but are not sure how and when to use them since we read a lot of stories that Delta points have a bad rap. Nevertheless, Delta has a very good benefit since its points never expire like the other programs. When we checked for flights from Houston to Toronto or Montreal last April, they are quite expensive (more than $400) rather than the similar flights within the US can be around $300. So we tried different programs, and finally came up with Delta for 60K round-trip for 2 people + taxes ($56 each). The process to redeem the points were easy and quick. The flights were with small airplanes since they have to change at another hub (Detroit or Atlanta), but it was still ok. We can’t complain since they are almost free. We plan to use it again next year unless we can find something else more valuable like travel to Europe or Asia. So thanks to you guys in this hobby to educate us about those free benefits.
