The Flight Deal reports Delta has a nationwide sale to popular European destinations this spring and fall for ~$500 to ~$600!

They use the example of Los Angeles to Dublin for ~$509.

I searched Google Flights and found New York non-stop to Barcelona round-trip for ~$585 in May 2016!  But it was NOT on Delta, it was on American Airlines!  So other airlines might be matching Delta’s sale.

I Found This Non-Stop Round-Trip Flight Using Google Flights, Then Went to the AA.com Booking Page

Here’s my series on how to use ITA Matrix to find flights.  And my post for how to use the very easy Google Flights.

I recommend plugging in your home airport and a few places you’d want to visit in Europe to check prices.  You can find tickets under $600 (in some cases closer to $500) for departures through May 2016.

Or, if you’d prefer to visit in the fall, there are more cheap fares from late August through October 2016.

Spring or fall are excellent times to travel because lines will be shorter at the big tourist attractions.  And you can save a lot of money by traveling slightly outside of the peak summer travel time.

Let me know if you book a flight to Europe today!
