This Wyndham Deal Can Be Worth Setting an Alarm! There Are ~1,300 Packages Available. And in Previous Years, They’ve Sold Out Very Quickly!

When you purchase a package, you’ll see the points in your Wyndham loyalty account within 10 business days.

Use Your Points!

The points expire after 4 years from the day they’re deposited, so you’ll have plenty of time to use them.

However, they will expire after 18 months of not earning or spending any points.  That’s plenty of time to plan an award stay.  But I don’t recommend saving points for a long time anyway, because the terms can always change.

Is It Worth It?

Depending on how you use your points, yes!

ALL Wyndham hotel award nights cost 15,000 points per night.  So with this deal, you’re basically paying $150 per night.  It’s an excellent deal if you want to stay at an expensive hotel.

Nights at the Viva Wyndham Fortuna Beach – An All-Inclusive Resort Cost ~$300. With the Daily Getaways Deal, You’re Saving ~50% Off the Paid Rate!

For example, I found a night in June at the Viva Wyndham Fortuna Beach – An All-Inclusive Resort in the Bahamas for ~$304 after taxes, or 15,000 Wyndham points.  In this case, the Daily Getaways Wyndham deal saves you half off the room rate!

  1. If i redeem 15,000 for an all inclusive property, does everyone in the room get the all inclusive perks? up to 4 guests?

  2. Contrary to what I’ve read previously on this subject, I just recently (3/31/16) received the following response from Wyndham Rewards customer service after booking a Wyndham all-inclusive in LA Romana, Dominican Republic for 4 persons.

“please keep in mind when redeeming your points for an all inclusive property, it is for two adults only.

Any additional guests would not be included in the go free reservation.

For more information regarding the Wyndham Rewards program or the Terms and Conditions”

I have since changed my reservation down to 2 persons.

  3. @Wayne, but how many people will be staying in the room?

  4. @HP – After 2 guests, you’ll have to pay extra, but the amount depends on the resort, so be sure to check the total price when you book.

@Wayne – Thanks so much for sharing your experience! Extremely helpful!

  5. Just got back from a 3 night stay at the Viva Wyndham V Samana all-inclusive in the DR. Great use of 45K points!

  6. don’t forget in the Bahamas they charge a lot of extra fees not covered by points…besides resort fees and local taxes they also tack on energy charges nightly (you pay extra for that air conditioning…lol)…be sure to read ALL the fine print before getting suckered in with a teaser price like $150

  7. What best way to pay for this package? Is it categorized as travel purchase? Just want to figure out best card to use. Thanks

  8. @Mark Peterson – That sounds great! Glad you out your points to good use – that’s what it’s all about. Congrats!

@asdf – Thanks for the reminder. Definitely always read the fine print!

@Brian – I’m not sure, but I’ll let you know when I find out!

  9. I’m confused.

“This deal not only saves you money, but allows you to purchase enough points for up to *2 FREE AWARD NIGHTS*, even at their top hotels and all-inclusive resorts!”

“ALL Wyndham hotel award nights cost *15,000 POINTS PER NIGHT*. So with this deal, you’re basically paying $150 per night.”

Am I missing something? If all hotel award nights cost 15,000 points per night, how can I get 2 nights? Can you buy more than 15,000 points?

  10. @Amanda, i was initially confused too but if you further it explain you can buy 2 of the packages.

“There will only be ~1,300 packages available when this deal goes on sale.

And, the limit is 2 per loyalty account number. It’s free to join if you don’t already have an account!”

  11. @Brian – A friend bought a Daily Getaway earlier this week using the Chase Sapphire Preferred card (2X Chase Ultimate Rewards points on travel) and it *DID* code as travel!

  12. Thanks! Also, can my girlfriend and I each purchase 2 for a total of 4 nights that they can essentially combine into 1 booking?

  13. @millionmilesecrets
    Thanks for letting me know.

  14. @Mark Peterson: do you have to pay all-inclusive fees like for meals and drinks? Were there 4 people traveling? thanks!

  15. I just purchased 2 nights with my Sapphire card. I will let you know if I get double points. I own a timeshare so I have stayed at Wyndham resorts before. I am looking forward to redeeming these points for a weekend getaway. I have never earned Wyndham points before. Thanks again for the tip.

  16. @Matt – You should. Let me know if you have a different experience! Thanks!
