Rent a Bike and Smell the Tulips This Spring in Amsterdam! Save 30% Off an Award Seat on Select Delta European Routes With Delta Elite Status or an AMEX Delta Card Through Tomorrow, February 18, 2016

You can get a round-trip coach award seat to certain European cities for 42,000 Delta miles.  And some Business Class seats are on sale for 87,500 Delta miles round-trip.

To get the deal, you must book your seat by tomorrow, February 18, 2016.  There are other conditions to keep in mind:

  • You must travel between March 4, 2016, and May 31, 2016
  • You must stay at least 7 days in Europe
  • All seats require 14-day advance purchase

And, there are blackout dates on several routes.

In the past, Delta has opened up the sale to everyone after the pre-sale is over.  So it’s worth checking to see where you can go in Europe with fewer miles!

Get 8,000 Choice Points, Enough for a Free Award Night, When You Complete 2 Choice Hotel Stays Between March 3, 2016, and May 5, 2016

Choice Hotels ran a very similar promotion last spring.

To take part, you must maintain a US or Canadian address.  And only rooms booked online through the Choice Hotels website, over the phone at 800-424-6423, or through their Apple or Android mobile apps are eligible to earn bonus points.

Note:   Be sure the earning preferences on your Choice Privileges account are set to points and NOT miles, otherwise you won’t earn the bonus points.

You can use the points however you wish – you could save them for a longer trip or an award stay at a higher category hotel.  This is an easy way to earn bonus points if you have Choice hotel stays coming up!

80,000 IHG Points Is More Than Enough for an Overwater Villa at the InterContinental Thalasso Bora Bora!

You can try to make a test booking on the IHG website.  Some folks report seeing an offer for 80,000 IHG points and a $50 statement credit.  But your offer may be different.

Doctor of Credit reports you can call 877-274-0851 to apply over the phone.  I called and was offered 80,000 IHG points (with no statement credit) after meeting minimum spending requirements.

If you recently applied for the regular offer for 60,000 IHG points and a $50 statement credit, you could ask Chase to match you to the 80,000 point offer.

Either way, 80,000 IHG points is more than enough for a night at a top-tier IHG hotel like the InterContinental Thalasso Bora Bora where Emily and I stayed.

A big thank you to Million Mile Secrets readers who commented to let me know about these offers!  Emily and I will always let you know about the best deals, even if we don’t earn a commission!

  1. I just signed up for the QuickBooks trial. It didn’t ask for a credit card.

  2. @scott – Nice! It didn’t ask me for a credit card, either. But 1 of friends said it did. So I added that as a heads-up, just in case.

  3. Seems to ask for a credit card for all options except the self employed one. I’d love if you would post here when you receive your points.
