    My favorite travel memory is taking my mom on the train out of Skagway, Alaska. That train has been on her bucket list for more than 40 years. Despite the cold, wet weather she stood on the outside platform nearly the whole way to Carcross.

  19. My favorite travel memory is whale watching in Juneau, Alaska with my Mom. It was my graduation gift, and we got to see humpback whales bubble net feeding. It was an absolutely amazing day!

    My favorite travel memory was going to Israel with a bunch of people whom I didn’t even know! We were on a ten day trip and we traveled all parts of Israel from north to south. It was a trip of a lifetime. We all became friends and still keep in touch till this day. It was definitely a trip to remember. #israel

  41. It’s hard to pick one. One of my favorite was in Nagoya, Japan. One evening I went into a small local restaurant where I was the only American. Everyone else was Japanese or Chinese. Once the staff found out I was American, there was suddenly a shout from the kitchen: “New York Yankees!!” I said I was from Texas, then another shout came: “Texas Rangers!!” Ha, Ha!! The Japanese really do like baseball. 🙂 I love Japan. It’s hard to find a more wonderful, friendly people.
