If all 4 golfers in the group are cardholders, do they all receive the waived green fee benefit?
You can only use the free golf for yourself, not friends or family.
But if your pals also have the Citi Prestige, they CAN get a free round at the same time as you. But they’ll have to book their tee time separately.
I’ll explain how it works!
What’s the Deal?
Link: Citi Prestige
But you can’t book a tee time together and receive the free golf. Each player must book separately through the GolfSwitch site and and provide their Citi Prestige card number. Or call the Citi Prestige Concierge at 877-288-2484.
This only works at courses which allow you to book a tee time for 1 person. Some courses require a minimum of 2 people to make a booking.
Once a group has booked their free rounds, it’s a good idea to call the golf course and explain that everyone is playing together.
Note: Reservations for golf courses in Asia must be made by phone through the Citi Prestige Concierge at 877-288-2484.
Earn Miles for Golfing
Until September 30, 2015, when you sign-up for a Golfmiles account and complete your 1st booking, you’ll earn 1,500 miles or points from your choice of 10 airlines.
And remember, you’ll earn miles or points for each booking you make.
But if your friends are also Citi Prestige cardholders, you can play together for free. Each person must make their booking separately, and it must be at a course that allows folks to reserve a tee time for 1 person.
Once you’ve booked, call the course to let them know you’re playing together.
Thanks for the question, Bryn!
