UPDATE: The Chase Sapphire Preferred no longer earns 3X points on the 1st Friday of the month.
You usually earn 2 Chase Ultimate Rewards points per $1 spent on dinning (and travel) with Chase Sapphire Preferred. But when you dine out today, you earn 3X Chase Ultimate Rewards points.
I wouldn’t go out of my way to earn 1 extra point per $1 but if you’re paying for restaurants to cater your office parties, it adds up. And I like getting bonus points for things I’d do anyway!
This deal is good on the 1st Friday of each month through 2015. It will NOT return in 2016.
Find out everything you need to know about this deal!
What’s 1st Friday?
Today you can earn 3X Chase Ultimate Rewards points at restaurants when you pay with your Chase Sapphire Preferred card. Some bars and nightclubs may also count towards the bonus, if they serve food.
And you don’t even have to order food, drinks and gift cards count too!
You’ll get the 3X bonus while abroad too.
Chase Ultimate Rewards points are valuable because there are so many ways you can use them. I prefer to transfer my points to travel partners like Hyatt and United Arilines.
You can earn up to another 5X points when you registering your Chase Sapphire Preferred card with Rewards Network and dine at participating locations. If you don’t already have an account, it’s free to sign-up.
Check out my previous post on 1st Friday to see how the points can add up!
It’s the 1st Friday of the month and you can earn 3 Chase Ultimate Rewards points per $1 spent at restaurants.
And you can stack this deal with Rewards Network for even more points!
