Blog Giveaway 200 StayFaster Hotel Credit

You Could Win a $200 Hotel Credit to Use at StayFaster!

StayFaster is a site that lets you compare prices across many hotel brands and when you book, your reservation goes directly into the hotel’s reservation system.  So you’ll still earn hotel points for your stay and elite benefits like free breakfast and room upgrades!

When you create a StayFaster account using promotional code “Million Mile Secrets” and enter the same code again when you book your stay, you’ll earn cash back.

You’ll earn 10% cash back on your 1st hotel booking with StayFaster, plus 6% cash back on all other stays through January 31, 2016.

Note:   Hotels that don’t qualify for this promotion will have “Not Eligible for Promotions” at the top of each room description.

How to Enter (You Have to Complete 2 Steps to Win!):

To enter this giveaway you have to complete 2 steps.

1 – Sign-up for a free StayFaster account (if you haven’t already).  2 – Comment on this post.

1.  Sign-Up for an Account at StayFaster

Create a free account using promotional code “Million Mile Secrets”.  Use the same email address that you use to comment on Million Mile Secrets.  Because only folks who sign-up for a StayFaster account are eligible to win!

Blog Giveaway 200 StayFaster Hotel Credit

You’ll Also Earn 10% Cash Back on Your 1st Stay When You Use Promotional Code “Million Mile Secrets”

If you’ve previously signed-up using the code, you’ll still be entered into the giveaway when you complete step 2!

2.   Comment (Use the Same Email Address You Used in Step 1)

Please leave ONE comment (using the same email address you used to create your StayFaster account) telling me what’s 1 perk, service, or amenity you’d like to see during your next hotel stay?

You can use your imagination or choose something you think is really lacking at many hotels.  For example dog park, butler service for every room, open bar, etc.

I’ll pick 1 commenter who will win a $200 hotel credit after the drawing closes at 9:00 pm Central Time on Saturday, June 27, 2015, (today).

Good luck!

Fine Print:  The largest value of this giveaway is $200.  I make the final decision for this contest and there’s no appeal.

  2. Michelle D C

Housekeeping staff that know what “Do Not Disturb” means!

  3. Sausage and Eggs for breakfast, and free, makes my day at a hotel.

  4. Put Nespresso coffee makers in rooms….and to make it even better include the electric milk frother with a pint of milk in the fridge in room to make cappuccinos like they did in our “tent” room at Longitude 131, Australia.

  5. Free breakfast!

  6. James Hunter

I’d like my next hotel to have an observatory with a bar. Star-gazing with Gibsons – now there’s a good time!

  11. I would really enjoy a free SPA/massage package!

  12. As a Hilton Gold guy, I’m looking forward to an upgrade to the executive floor!

  13. Free breakfast is a must !! A massive hotel (stay) benefit

  17. Leonard Chan

Would love to get upgraded to a suite on my next hotel stay with the family and kids! The extra room is so useful.

  18. Love traveling ALOT don’t get to do it as much as I like :(. But a voucher for an upgrade to suite or a free night stay and breakfast 🙂

  19. Free internet on all hotel stays!

  20. A room with a view. When using discount sites, you are often given a discount room, aka with a view of the building next door or the delivery alley.

  21. I always look for hotels with free breakfast. (Which is why I favour Choice Hotels!) We travel with kids more often than not, and wrangling them to restaurant in the morning is an insurmountable feat:)

  22. Tom pittman

Free wifi is always a winner for me

  23. I’d like to see the hotel offer flowers on the bed to celebrate our 5 year anniversary.

  24. Free breakfast that’s delicious (and vegetarian-friendly!)

  25. A nice hot, savory free breakfast will do it every time.

  26. I love getting breakfast free.

  27. The simple things: Fresh baked cookies, apples, a bottle of water and some hot coffee on arrival (or a drink!) Getting to the hotel is often the most tiring part of the trip. I love showing up to a little something special!

  28. free breakfast is always great!

  29. Mindy Laidlaw

A free bottle of water on my bedside table!

  30. Free breakfast is always something that I enjoy while traveling with my family!

  31. I already have a Stayfaster account (from another website), but would like to enter your giveaway. I always enjoy lounge access. It feels so luxurious!

  32. Marcus Bouchillon

My wife and I are new to this (we just started collecting points earlier this month). We have always enjoyed staying in Washington DC and Baltimore, but aren’t fans of the parking fees that come with staying in the city. Free valet (or free parking in general) would be a great perk!

  33. I’d like to have better in-room coffee/tea makers with real cream and sweeteners.

  34. Free hot brekkie!

  35. GetToThePoints

I would like to receive my appropriate membership benefits offered to me without having to ask!!!!

  36. I would love to always have a welcome snack/drink waiting for me as I check in!

  37. Michael goodman

8 would love to have a white robe, breakfast in bed and a beautiful view

  38. I would like to have an included spa treatment

  39. It’s pretty simple, but getting free anything is nice, like breakfast. Since we are new to collecting miles I can’t wait to take advantage of our newest Hilton card and the gold status it gives us.

  40. I’d like toiletries (including hair gel) already in the room, not just available for purchase. If I knew they were there it would be less to pack and less time/hassle at airport security.

  41. Free wifi should be included at every hotel!

  42. I’d love to see more hotels allowing for check in via phone, whether that’s through a door scanning system with the phone or something. 😀

  43. Free vegetarian-oriented and kosher breakfast (meaning they cook on separate stoves in separate pans) at the GH Kauai or HR Maui for Sept surprise wedding anniversary (I’m sure that I may be able to easily talk them into an upgrade).

  44. William frye

Who doesn’t want to stay faster, but leave slower!

  45. Gratis late check-out makes a stay much more relaxing. Also appreciated are in-room refrigerators, complimentary and functioning wifi, and user-friendly climate control systems that don’t keep you awake.

  46. Peggi Billman

    A free massage!

  47. A free evening wine and cheese time!

  48. Very cool — Stay Faster!

  49. Free wi-fi.

  50. I really appreciate late check-out option whenever possible and it always affects my choice!

  51. A higher quality free breakfast

  52. Faster free wi-fi

  53. Free breakfast.

  54. love the spa treatments, a clean robe, and a fabulous day/night with my loved one.

  55. Nandan Dasgupta

A cozy room, an indoor water pool, and a free breakfast!

  56. Vishal Kulkarni

    Free wifi and free breakfast

  57. The bigger hotels need to learn a bit from their smaller counterparts. Most of the smaller hotel chains (Travelodges and Rodeway Inns) offer free breakfast, free wifi and free parking, whereas most of the luxury hotels do not provide any of these. I often feel that the former give a bigger bang for the buck, especially if you are not looking to stay at a place for leisure (say while staying en route while traveling or while staying in a national park area). The bigger hotels need to learn to give these basic amenities free. Otherwise, even when I book with points, I often end up spending a decent amount on all these amenities. A hot breakfast would be especially welcome.

  58. White lights! Or atleast bright lights. It is often so irritating to try reading a book in the dimly lit rooms. And more power outlets for charging. Some hotel rooms have a ridiculously small number of power outlets (I have counted just two in many cases). In an era where travllers need to charge their cellphones, laptops, cameras etc, two outlets in a room for four people is crazy. And most of them are anyway hidden safely behind a bed or table; nothing in a convenient location. If you dont have enough outlets, please connect an extension in every room which has 5-6 outlets (like the one we use for desktop computers; it costs only 7$ in Walmart)!

  59. An early morning nanny service – take the children to breakfast, then to the pool or the park. The children come back fed and worn out, while the parents have enjoyed a peaceful start to the day!

  60. Free message service in the morning – what a way to start your day

  61. dotti cahill

in room breakfast would be fun esp if with a patio and a great view like at the Trump in chicago!!!

  62. Suite Upgrade! It is a relieve when I am living in a 120 square feet room in my everyday life!

  63. It would be awesome to have cooking classes to learn how to cook local cuisine!

  64. The club floor is my favorite amenity. So a guaranteed complimentary upgrade to club floor access would make my stay over the top!!! It’s not only free breakfast in a calm lounge setting, it’s often free lunch, snacks and dinner too along with wifi and a dedicated concierge.

  65. Suzzanne Dempsey

I’m simpler than most of the wants. I’d like small 8 oz. water bottles cold in the fridge. They are easier to take along in my purse. A lemon, plate, napkin and small knife to cut it.

Yes, a flower in bud vase on the bathroom counter or desk would also be a nice treat.

  66. I recently stayed at a Homewood Suites and was spoiled by the free dinner & drinks in the evening during the workweek. I’d really like that again!

  67. Free breakfast! Thank you!

  68. I would like for there to be a free excursion or activity outside the hotel including zip lining or a baseball game for example.

  69. I ALWAYS like free breakfast!

  70. Free WiFi is nice, IF it has good connection speeds and some light switches you can figure out!

  71. It’s always nice when there is a complimentary cocktail hour and free breakfast!

  72. Jordan Kaplowitz

I would like to see guided tours offered by hotel.

  73. I love a free breakfast!

  74. free buffet breakfast, please.

  75. Free breakfast would be a great way to start the day.

  76. I love complimentary cocktail and appetizer hour.

  77. StayFaster sounds like a great way to save money on hotels!

  78. I really appreciate free WiFi, free parking, and free breakfast. Also, I appreciate when you can decline housekeeping for an additional perk like a voucher for a free drink at the bar. Also, I love free cookies or a welcome drink upon checkin.

  79. As someone who lives off of points, giveaways, and contests; I would enjoy if hotels had in-person contests of their own! (I’m not talking about the gigantic contests held via social media or hotel chain sites, but more local raffles…. maybe a raffle for a pair of tickets to a local museum or a restaurant certificate.. )

  80. sandra centa

Soundproof, or at least much better insulated windows, especially for hotels in the city or by a highway!

  81. I would like to see free parking, local transportation, or complimentary show passes provided by the hotel. In most cases, parking fees almost always off-set the nightly discounted fees that I find online. Additionally, it would be nice to see local entertainment similar to offerings provided by Las Vegas when booking through certain third party sites. Thank you for offering $200 in hotel credit.

  82. Free Breakfast

  83. Wouldn’t a comfortable recliner chair in every hotel room be nice.?
