How Can You Use Delta Miles?

Link:   Delta Award Flights

Figuring out where you can go with your Delta miles can get a bit tricky.  That’s because Delta no longer has an award chart on its website.  So you’ll have to search for specific routes to find out how much it will cost.

On top of that, it isn’t always easy to use Delta miles.  You’ll likely have better luck if you book in advance and have flexible travel dates.

Here’s a look at how many miles you’ll need for some low-level awards (if you can find them):

  • 2 round-trip coach tickets to anywhere in the continental US, Alaska, and Canada – 50,000 miles
  • A round-trip coach ticket to Hawaii – 45,000 miles
  • A round-trip coach ticket to the Caribbean, Mexico, or Central America – 35,000 miles
  • A round-trip Business Class ticket to anywhere in the continental US, Alaska, and Canada – 50,000 miles

  1. If I’ve had the Delta Gold personal card in the past, can I get the sign-up bonus on the Platinum card?

  2. @Leanne – Yes. I have both personal Gold and Platinum, plus business Gold. All separate products. Booked a RTW trip this summer with all those bonus miles.

    Thanks again Daraius!

  3. I already hold a personal Delta Reserve Amex and a Business Delta Reserve Amex. Am I eligible to hold a personal Delta Platinum Amex at the same time, and if so, am I eligible for a bonus for signing up for one?

  4. I signed up for the Gold Delta SkyMiles® Business Credit Card “REMINDER” option.
When the reminder came It displays the following:

Apply now—don’t miss out on the many ways American Express OPEN can help your business thrive. The link to the application will be valid until 07/22/2015.

It appears you can get a little longer to apply.
