Emily and I always tell you about the best publicly available sign-up bonuses.  But sometimes the best deals are targeted only to certain customers.

So it’s helpful to check your postal mail for credit card offers from AMEX.  And I’ll show you an easy way to check your online account for better sign-up bonuses!

You May Even Find a Deal That’s Worth at Least $750!

How to Find AMEX Targeted Offers Online

The deals you find in your American Express account, may be better than the sign-up bonuses that are open to everyone.

For example, my link for The Business Gold Rewards Card from American Express OPEN is for 25,000 points when you spend $5,000 on purchases within the 1st 3 months of opening your account.

But see if you have a better offer in your account.

Step 1 – Sign-On

For instance, I found an offer in my account for 75,000 Membership Rewards points when spending $10,000 on purchases within the 1st 3 months of opening The Business Gold Rewards Card from American Express OPEN (expired).

That’s 50,000 More Points Than the Offer That’s Open to Everyone! I Hope You Have This Deal in Your Account Too!

I also see an offer for 75,000 AMEX Membership Rewards points for spending $15,000 on purchases within the 1st 3 months of opening a American Express Business Platinum card.

That’s much better than my link on the Hot Deals page for the AMEX Business Platinum card with 40,000 American Express Membership Rewards points when you complete the minimum spending.

Step 4 – Make Sure You Can Meet the Minimum Spending

Along with these higher sign-up bonuses comes hefty minimum spending requirements.  So be sure you can meet the spending to earn the bonus before you sign-up.

What Can You Do With 75,000 AMEX Membership Rewards Points?

Link:   What to Do With 75,000 to 100,000 AMEX Membership Rewards Points

American Express Membership Rewards points are worth 1 cent per point when buying airline tickets through AMEX using “Pay With Points.”  So 75,000 points are good for $750 in flights.

But you’ll get even more value when you transfer to travel partners.  For example, you could transfer your points to British Airways.  75,000 British Airways Avios points is enough for 5 round-trip coach tickets on American Airlines from Charlotte, North Carolina, to Grand Cayman.

A Single Round-Trip Ticket to Grand Cayman Can Cost ~$640. So 5 Round-Trip Tickets Could Be Worth Over ~$3,000!

Or you could transfer your points to Air Canada for a flight to Europe.  75,000 Air Canada Aeroplan miles are more than enough for a 1-way First Class flight on Air Canada or their Star Alliance partners to European countries such as Austria.

A 1-Way First Class Ticket From the US to Austria Could Cost ~$8,000!

So if you have these offers in your account, it’s a fantastic deal!

Bottom Line

I’ll always tell you about the best public credit card offers I find, but you should also check for targeted offers in your online accounts, email, and postal mail.

I checked my online account and found offers for 75,000 AMEX Membership Rewards for both The Business Gold Rewards Card from American Express OPEN (expired) and the AMEX Business Platinum cards.

So check your account to find out if you have the same deals!

  1. Awesome article thank you! I just got 2 really good (I think) offers from Amex in the mail. The Enhanced Business Gold Rewards Card. 75K points for $2,000 spend in 3 months. Also the same day received a personal Premier Rewards Gold Card, 50K points for $1,000 spend in the first 3 months. My question is should I sign up for them on the same day or leave a little time in between? Thank you in advance!

  2. Ethan……last month I signed up for both the Business and Personal gold cards at the same time. Got approved for both and just one hard pull showed up on Experian.

  3. In terms of British Airways, don’t they charge hefty fuel surcharges? What’s a good way to avoid these fuel charges, if any?

  4. You could google amex platinum 150k signup and get much better sign up offer codes
