You can buy discounted Hyatt points from ~1.04 cents per point to ~1.1 cents per point:

This will go FAST because there are only 160 packages (total) available!  And you can only buy 1 set of points for each offer.

Hyatt hotels include:

You can transfer Hyatt points to certain airlines, but you do NOT get a good value.

Buying points could make sense if you use them at expensive hotels.

For example, you could get 30,000 Hyatt points for $330 and stay at the Park Hyatt Paris-Vendome.  Emily and I stayed here on our honeymoon!

A paid night costs $805!

  1. Hey – any way to maximize this on a points earning card and category bonuses?

  3. I read that the points are just points and don’t have to be used for the category they mention but I’m worried because the terms and conditions state: “Package includes 40,000 Hyatt Gold Passport bonus points that may be redeemed at participating Hyatt Gold Passport Category 5 hotels.” I would like to use them for a week long trip at a lower category.

I left a message with someone at the daily getaways office but I’m worried I’m cutting it close and don’t want to buy this offer if I can only use for 2 nights at a cat. 5.

    Anyone know for sure?

  4. I was on the site before the time and was ready to buy but they were all sold out! Very disappointing, they should have a bigger inventory.

  5. Complete waste of time reading posts on good daily giveaways. This one sold out in one second. Why bother doing a post every day. Any good deal goes to only a few with fast connect times. Gotta have better filler news

  6. Thanks Darius for keeping us posted with such amazing deals. following your post has made me realize many of my travel dreams.

The daily getaways deals get blocked (and eventually sold out) within the first 10 seconds i guess. I tried the 3 nights at Hyatt for 775 and could not get my hands on those. Despite being sitting like a hawk for it…

I will one day for sure. Thanks again

  7. Yay, I got 24k points! I figured I would target the deal with the most inventory to have best chance and it paid off. While the inventory is not ideal since only a few people can get in on it, I’m glad for the opportunity.

Thanks Daraius for your posts! These Hyatt points will go to great use at a Park Hyatt next year.
