Earlier this week I wrote about Business Class flights to Beijing for just ~$450 round-trip!
Business Class tickets from the US to Beijing can cost ~$5,000! So this was an incredible deal!
But I always warn folks to hold off on booking other non-refundable hotels, accommodations, etc. because your reservation may not be honored by the airline.
But American Airlines has made a different decision…
Are You Going to Beijing?
American Airlines has announced on its Twitter page that it will honor tickets that were booked at this mistake fare.
So what does this mean?
If you paid for your ticket, I say it’s now safe to make other travel arrangements!
However, folks who placed their itinerary on hold may NOT be so lucky! According to FlyerTalk, many have had their itinerary removed from hold and it looks like American Airlines does NOT intend to honor flights that were placed on hold.
How Not to Miss Out on the Next Mistake Fare
American Airlines has decided to honor mistake Business Class fares to Beijing for folks who paid for their flights!
However, many folks who put their itinerary are not so lucky and have already had their reservations cancelled!
Congratulations to readers who were able to get in on this deal!
