Deal or No Deal?

Usually a ticket from Toronto to Dublin costs at least ~$600.  So this ticket is less than half the normal price.  This is a great deal if you were already planning a trip to Dublin, or are looking for a cheap trip.

Book Quick, but…

You should book this quickly.  Low fares don’t last long.  Read my post about booking mistake and low fares!

But, do NOT book non-refundable hotel or other travel plans until you receive a confirmation WITH an e-ticket number.  And remember:  DO NOT call the airline!

What If You’re Not in Toronto?

If you’re not in Toronto , you could use points (like British Airways Avios) to get there cheaply.  British Airways Avios work best for short-haul flights because you pay 4,500 points 1-way for flights less than 649 miles, and 7,500 points for flights up to 1,149 miles.

Or if you’re on the East coast close to the Canadian border, you could make the drive to Toronto.

You could also try to find a cheap paid ticket from your home airport to Toronto.  But tickets to Canada are sometimes expensive, so do the math to see if it makes sense.

Which Card to Use?

Don’t forget to use your Chase Sapphire Preferred (which earns 2X points on travel) or Barclaycard Arrival Plus World Elite Mastercard (which earns 2.1% back on travel).   Since you’re booking through a UK website, it’s good that these cards do NOT charge foreign transaction fees!

There’s nothing better than finding a low fare and getting bonus points for the ticket!

Bottom Line

Only ~$276 for a round-trip ticket from Toronto to Dublin is a very good deal!  Remember, you can only book this through Tripsta, a UK online travel agency.

This is a mistake fare so don’t wait!  It won’t last.
