I’d rather earn 50,000 Marriott points or more the easy way, by signing-up for a card such as Chase Marriott Business or Chase Marriott Premier Rewards.

You can also transfer Chase Ultimate Rewards points you earn with the Chase Sapphire Preferred, Chase Ink Bold, and Chase Ink Plus to Marriott.

That said, this might be a nice bonus for folks who already have plans for 2 or more stays at Marriott hotels.

  2. i have not yet attended a Frequent Traveler University (FTU). If I were to attend an FTU in the future, the topics I would like to learn about include:

    1. Examples of the kinds of spreadsheets travelers use to stay organized and keep track
    2. A table showing what pts (Chase, AMEX etc) can transfer to and what ratio
    3. A table showing what miles (from all airlines) can transfer to and what ratio
    4. What amount of time must elapse, if any, to reapply for a credit card and receive the bonus. A comprehensive list
