2.   Unusual Number of Partner Award Seats Available on Delta

Via Frequent Miler, folks are reporting an unusually high number of low-level award seats available using Delta miles on their partner airlines.  Delta’s partners include SkyTeam airlines, plus other partners like Virgin Atlantic.

It’s sometimes difficult to find low-level award seats on Delta partners, especially in Business Class.  But it looks like there are still plenty of seats available on certain routes and airlines.

Note:  These may not last long!

Here’s a search for flights this summer between New York and London for 2 people.  There are low-level Business Class seats available every day.

  1. Was booking from CLE to FLL on May 9th returning 13th for 3 passengers and checked out for 46$ round trip . But when making payment it failed and the tickets went to higher price and could not book it. Thanks for the info.

  2. Hi Darius, one quick question. If I book an award ticket and cancel it later to redeposit the miles, would be the tax and fees be returned as well in addition to the miles? (I understand I have to pay a cancellation fee for redeposit)? I have no experience on that. Thank you.

  3. hi Darius, i’m a long time follower of your site and have been using points for flights for a couple years now. here’s my current problem with AA miles. I’ve been calling them every day for two weeks with no success. trying to get 1 coach ticket for oneway betweem BKK and PIT for 3/14/2015 + or – one day. and they say nothing is available. I have just enough United miles to do this and that would be very easy to do online. but I have lots of AA miles that id rather use at this time. any advice for me…Thanks… Thomas
