Chase Ultimate Rewards points are 1 of the most flexible type of points to use. That’s because you can transfer them to certain airlines and hotels to get Big Travel for Small Money.
And if you have multiple cards that earn Chase Ultimate Rewards points, you can transfer those points between accounts.
I’ve written before about how to transfer your Chase Ultimate Rewards points between accounts and about how to work around the new changes to transferring Chase Ultimate Rewards to airline and hotel partners.
But now, Chase has changed the way to transfer Chase Ultimate Rewards points from 1 account to another.
New Way to Transfer Your Chase Ultimate Rewards Points Between Accounts
You can transfer Chase Ultimate Rewards points between accounts when you have several cards that earn those points:

|Chase Sapphire Reserve||Chase Ink Plus|
|Chase Sapphire Preferred||Chase Ink Bold (No Longer Available to New Applicants)|
|Chase Freedom||Chase Ink Cash|
|Chase Freedom Unlimited|

|Note: Points earned from the Chase Freedom, Sapphire, and Ink Cash cards can only be transferred to travel partners if you also have a Chase Sapphire Preferred, Ink Plus, or Ink Bold card.|

But now’s there a different way to do it because of the website updates.
Transferring Chase Ultimate Rewards Points Between Accounts
Step 1 – Log Into Your Chase Ultimate Rewards Account
Log into your Chase Ultimate Rewards account.
Step 2 – Select Account
Select the account you want to transfer Chase Ultimate Rewards points from.
Step 3 – Click on “Combine Points”
Click on “Combine Points.”
Step 4 – Select Accounts
Select the account you want to transfer Chase Ultimate Rewards points from and the account you want to transfer to and click on “Continue.”
Step 5 – Choose Amount and Click “Review”
Choose how many Chase Ultimate Rewards points you want to transfer. You can select “All my points” or “Other amount” if you want to transfer a different amount. Then click on “Review.”
Step 6 – Click on “Confirm & Submit”
Review the details then click on “Confirm & Submit.”
You’ll get instant confirmation that your Chase Ultimate Rewards points have been transferred.
If you have multiple cards that earn Chase Ultimate Rewards points, you’ve always been able to transfer those points between accounts.
