The sale is good for travel December 6, 2014, through December 18, 2014.  Flights on Sundays are not included.

You can buy discounted tickets on Frontier until 11:59 pm Eastern Standard Time today.  Travel dates must be between December 6, 2014, and December 18, 2014.

Fares are as low as $19 1-way.  You don’t have to buy a round-trip ticket.  And there are only a limited number of seats available.

If you can find seats, this is a terrific deal.

However, not all destinations from the sale cities are priced at $19.  But some are still good deals anyway.

Remember that Frontier charges extra for just about everything, including seat selectionchecked baggage and carry on baggage.

And it costs more if you pay these fees at the airport.  For example, a gate checked bag costs $50!

But if you can travel light (backpacks, briefcases, and purses are all free) and aren’t choosy about seating, you might want to take part in this promotion.

Remember, Frontier Airlines charges fees for almost everything, including seat selection, carry-on baggage, and checked baggage.  But if you’re able to travel light this is an excellent deal.

  1. This is a great deal, however in some cases (like mine) the return flight is not always $19 also. For instance DEN to PHX = $19, but PHX to DEN = $72. Still a pretty good deal if dates work for you. Good luck hope you find a bargain.

  2. Well, that’s sort of interesting. I live in Bloomington, IL (BMI). First of all, there is only 1 destination at that price. Second, there are only 2 dates with the $29 seats. Third, there are no available return flights at the same price.

    The other interesting thing is that it’s for direct flights from Bloomington to Orlando. This is a route that was tried to AirTran a decade ago; Southwest pulled that route. Allegiant came in at some point, and Frontier started attacking their fares, but seeing as Frontier is pulling out of the airport altogether as of May, I doubt this route has been very profitable for any of the airlines running it.

    If it works for someone else out there, though, cheers! Here’s to cheap seats! 🙂
