You can get a $10 AMEX credit (up to $30 per card) on Small Business Saturday, November 29, 2014.
But you have to use a registered AMEX card at a participating small business.
Here are some ways to have fun (or be charitable!) with your $10 credits!
10 Ways to Get the $30 AMEX Credit on Small Business Saturday

I’ve briefly mentioned ways you can get your $30 per AMEX statement credit, but for folks who’ve never participated in Small Business Saturday or might like more ideas, here are 10 ways to shop.
1. Stocking Stuffer Gifts
You can buy small gifts for stocking stuffers.
For instance, I found a local movie theater on the Small Business Map. I plan to buy multiple $10 gift certificates on Saturday to give as stocking stuffer holiday gifts to my family who lives near the theater.
2. Gifts for Now and Later
Buying holiday gifts or gifts for future celebrations like Valentine’s Day or birthdays, at local shops is another way you can use your $10 AMEX credit.
3. Gift Certificates
Stocking up on gift certificates for businesses where you normally shop is a great way to use your Small Business Saturday credit.
You can buy $10 worth of food at a local bakery or market and hand it out to folks in need or bring it to a shelter, church, etc.
5. Support Local Schools
Find a local store selling school supplies and give them to area schools in need.
6. Be a Best Friend
Buy treats at a local pet store and give them to animals in a shelter.
7. Buy a Round
Folks who enjoy socializing at bars and nightclubs can swipe their enrolled American Express card for a $10 (with tip) cocktail, glass of wine, or beer, for their friends.
Remember that your generosity begins after midnight on Friday and ends before midnight on Saturday! 😉
Note: The merchant has to process the charge on Saturday, so you may not want to try this very late on Saturday night at a bar.
8. Go Dutch
Take a date, buddy or family member out for a meal on Saturday and split the bill so that both of you get a statement credit.
Or you can treat and split the bill in $10 increments on your enrolled AMEX cards.
9. See a Show
Buying tickets for a show at a local theatre on Saturday can qualify for the $10 AMEX statement credit.
10. Take a Tour
See your own city or buy a tour in a city you’re visiting.
Some ways you can shop on Small Business Saturday include buying stocking stuffers, guying gift cards, and making donations.
