  1. Does anyone know a few “chains” that fall into Small Business Saturday? I’ll be out of hometown for travel :/

  2. Great post Daraius, and thanks for the links. About the bluebird eligibility, other web sites were making it seem like I had to go through the hassle of “syncing” it to a twitter account. Nope, the registration link here works for BB too.

  3. ps to Carolos, the locator map is a great tool. Plug in the zip code of where you’ll be and you’ll likely get hundreds of options…. though perhaps not many “chains.” The idea here is “small business.” (Yet I was pleasantly startled to see hundreds of local options, including restaurants, show up in my small wahoo town)

  4. Are you sure corp cards don’t work? It allowed me to register mine and an “employee” card too. It would not allow me to register my redbird card.

  5. Amex website explicitly states Serve is not included. Am i missing something?

  6. The gift cards that are eligible for $10 statement credit – are these gift cards for the small business itself or gift cards for other businesses like amazon that are purchased at the small business?

  7. Do you know if Authorize user on the same account with their own cards can also receive statement credit?

  8. So the Cit AAdvantage Amex IS eligible? I thought those weren’t. They r usually excluded from Amex offers, no?

  9. Do you know if you can get credit back from AmEx for multiple $10 purchases at just one qualifying small business? I have 3 AmEx cards registered, so I’m wondering if I can go to a store and basically buy nine $10 gift cards, pay three times each with the three registered cards, and get $30 per card credit back! Confusing – sorry. Thanks!
