  1. Thanks guys!

  2. Thanks for the tip. We only do about $20/week at Whole Foods but this will come in handy. Question though, we just this month maxed out our $6,000 in groceries (yes that is $600/mo on food for our family!) on our Amex Blue Cash Preferred so will only earn 1% the rest of year on groceries. Do you think this 2% at WF will be available to us? I gotta get a Blue Cash Everyday for the last few months of the year to at least get 3% when the Preferred maxes out.

  3. Appears to be targeted. I am getting the following message after logging in using the link above (I have a Blue Cash Preferred) “We’re sorry. This special promotion is only open to invited Card Members.”

  4. I’m new to your website-it’s great. Thanks. I recently received a Chase Ink Plus card. Not real clear here-so I go to the office supply store and get the Whole Food Gift card-how does that give me 5% back? I understand getting the extra points as I’m buying with my Chase card….but the 5% cash back? What am I missing?

  5. @ Paul. Look at the Bank of America cash rewards card. If you have their bank account you’ll get an extra 10% when redeeming into that account. So you’ll earn 2.2% on groceries. $1500 a year for it. So that should get you to next year :-). Also it earns 3.3% on gas.

  6. on buying whole food gift cards at office depot et al. I have read in covenants and restrictions on some of the deals here and there, that giftcards would be excluded. Are you absolutely certain you can get the 5% on non-merchandise/services purchases?
