  • See terms for additional travel date restrictions based upon your departure and destination cities

Bottom Line

Check your email to see if you received a targeted offer from Southwest to earn double base points on flights and sale fares.

It’s nice to earn double points, but keep in mind that the extra points will NOT count towards the Southwest Companion Pass.

There are lots of restrictions and blackout dates on the sale fares.  So you will NOT be able to take advantage of this for weekend or holidays trips.   If you expect to take another Southwest trip in the future, it may be worth booking now because you can cancel up to 10 minutes for departure and still get credit towards another flight.

  1. Is anyone else having a problem with the titles of the articles (the reddish brown text) appearing in gibberish symbols? When I hover over them, the eventually change to the correct text. This has been happening for a couple of weeks. I use Chrome and have tried clearing my cache and content history, but no luck.

  2. Try another browser. If the problems is still there its A failing diplay adapter/grapthics processor or the diaplay drivers have become corrupted.

  3. It’s unique to Chrome on my computer. I deleted my cache, browser history and all, but no luck. Weird.
