  1. I should know this as a frequent traveler, just got of a SWA flight earlier today, but just to be sure; will I still earn rapid rewards points for fare payed for with a SWA gift card? I would imagine so, but just checking… Thanks! My question also applies to Southwest LUV vouchers if anyone happens to know.

  2. Will these get billed from SWA on the CC or from another source?

  3. Can I use more than one certificate per booking?

  4. @Trent B. – called up SWA… GC are just like cash… and you will get RR points for GC purchases…

  5. Is it possible to double dip? I have the Premier SW Chase Visa. I’ll be using that to purchase the gift cards. Afterwards, Ill be redeeming those gift cards for a flight in September. Will I earn points for both instances?

  6. @Srini thanks! I was surprised by the lack of information regarding this on the interwebz…

  7. Thank you for this. I just purchased 3x $100 Southwest cards and received them instantly. No delay. $255 total, nice. The website is a little quirky but a deal’s a deal. Happy 4th of July America !!!!!!

  8. I have a current WN res for Sunday, 7/6. I bought it with travel credits from past WN GCs when I had to cancel/change some flights weeks back and then paid the balance with BC Arrival in the amount of $113.00. It will take $5,650 in spending on the Arrival to get that covered in 6 months as I have a low points balance. Should I just buy a $100 SW card at this site for 15% off and just take it on the chin? Usually a 15% discount is appreciated in this economy. This was not an advance fare since I found out a sister is having surgery on Monday. Thanks in advance to any gifted math whiz who takes the time to respond.

  9. Unfortunately fireworks15 code not working and Southwest logo not appearing when using iPad.

    • @Ed – Another source.

      @Yossi – Up to 4.

      @Richard – You’ll earn 1 point per $1 spent on the SW card.

      @JLNB – If the fare hasn’t increased, you could try to get the 15% discount. But you will also have the credits which you will have to use within 1 year. So it may not make sense if you have no other Southwest travel planned.

  10. It looks like Southwest cards are no longer available. Anyone else having this issue?
