Although you’ll pay high fuel surcharges, you can use Lufthansa miles for First Class & Business Class awards to Europe.

You get access to more award seats on Lufthansa when you use Lufthansa miles.

Bottom Line

If you use Lufthansa miles, you get access to more available award tickets on Lufthansa, Swiss, Austrian Air & Singapore Airlines.  However, you’ll pay high fuel surcharges.

Because you get access to extra award seats, Lufthansa miles are good to use for First Class or Business Class to Europe (if you don’t mind paying the fuel surcharges).

You can get 50,000 Lufthansa miles from the Lufthansa card if you apply by June 30, 2014.
