There isn’t a comparable package on the Universal Studios website, but they do sell a 5 person VIP Experience package for $2,199 to which you can add 7 additional people for $329 each.  However, it doesn’t include park admission.

If you bought the 1 day, 2 park Private VIP Experience direct from Universal Studios for 12 people with admission to both parks, you would pay ~$6,134 + tax!

If you were planning on visiting Universal Orlando, this could be a good deal depending on your travel dates.  If you use your American Express card, you’ll save an extra 10%.

I wouldn’t recommend this for families because you can’t travel when the schools are out except for June and August.  Although families should expect thunderstorms in Florida at that time.  Usually they’re open for a few hours so it’s doable to go to a theme park if you’re prepared for it.

You might be able to get a better deal using Starwood’s Nights & Flights.

Bottom Line

You can purchase 3 different Universal Orlando Resort packages and tickets today only at 1:00 pm EST.

If you’re going to visit Universal Orlando, buying these packages could be a good deal depending on your travel dates.

Emily and I are passing on today’s Daily Getaways because we aren’t theme park folks.  But if you enjoy theme parks, this could be a good deal for you.  As always, you should do what works best for you.
