The regular Frequent Traveler Universities (like the one coming up in Seattle!) are designed for folks new to miles and points or who haven’t been collecting miles and points for a long time.  And also for folks who just want to hang out with others like them!

Only A Few Tickets For Frequent Traveler University Advanced In September 2014

But now there’s a Frequent Traveler University Advanced from September 26 to September 28, 2014 in Chicago.  This Advanced version is limited to fewer people (~125) and features more advanced topics, more in-depth sessions, and more time with the presenters.  And in some sessions, folks will actually follow along on their laptops!

You can buy tickets from 8:00 am on April 14, 2014.  Tickets are $199 & include:

  • Open bar cocktails on Friday evening
  • Breakfast on Saturday and Sunday
  • Lunch on Saturday and Sunday 

Folks who buy a ticket will later receive instructions on how to book a room for $99 per night (plus taxes) at the Chicago Marriott at O’Hare airport.

Bottom Line

This is a different version of the popular Frequent Traveler University and should be interesting to folks who want to go more in-depth into miles and points!

  2. I was unable to obtain a ticket for the July FTU as well. Thanks to your blog’s email this morning, I snagged one up and am absolutely thrilled. Can I just say that meeting you (and hopefully Emily as well) will be like a celeb sighting for me? Many thanks Darius and I’m looking forward to meeting other Chicago-area travel junkies like myself.
