Restaurant week is a great way to try new restaurants without spending a lot of money. However, this promotion only helps if you live in New York City or are visiting.
Here’s How You Get Your $5 Credit
Register your American Express card by completing the form with your name, card number, and email address.
Use your American Express card to dine in NYC at a participating restaurant and spend at least $25.
Get a $5 credit for each meal of $25 or more.
Your credit will appear on your statement within 8 weeks after American Express receives the charge from the merchant.
Terms & Conditions
You must register before March 7, 2014, but you might want to sign-up soon because registration is limited.
The terms say that you can only register one card and your purchase must be made directly through the merchant to qualify. That said, I haven’t tried registering more than one card.
You will not receive the credit if you use a prepaid card, a corporate card, or an electronic wallet.
