If you’ve been using the Internet for a while, you likely have a separate email address to sign up for promotions and mailing lists.  So use that address for this offer.

The terms say that you will get 500 free points after 8 to 10 weeks!  I don’t know if these will count towards the Companion Pass, but there’s no harm in trying.

  1. Darius, just wanted to say THANK YOU for the free points! I wouldn’t have known about this without you .

  2. Why nothing on the Office Depot cards? Chase won’t allow you to post or what?

  3. And I mean the Variable Load cards being back on shelves and credit cards being able to be used.

  4. @Arlan

Kind of reminds you who the bloggers work for doesn’t it?

  5. LOL at that reply.

“it isn’t clear as yet if credit cards are allowed for purchases everywhere” ?? what the heck does that even mean.

Its best you stick to your plagiarizing stuff from FT and FM and keep pimping out the cards that you are good at.

  6. @Arlon @James

Man, why is either of you on this site? If he’s just stealing from FT and FM then you should be on those sites. And why does it matter if he’s posted about some credit card deal at Office Depot? YOU clearly already know about it, so how exactly do you care?

The majority of people on this site seem to complain that Darius shares *too much* for fear that too many people will take advantage of opportunities, resulting in loopholes being closed etc.

Darius, thank you for this blog and the time you put into it. I don’t have time to peruse dozens of other sites and I love your clear and concise listings of various deals and opportunities. So thank you very much for the time and effor tyou put into this. And thanks for the 500 points 🙂

    Great post Darius ^_^
    What is FM stand for?

    • @Ganta – I’ll try to make it easier for you. 1) Not all Office Depots carry the $500 cards and 2) Not all stores will let you buy them with a credit card and eventually they could become cash only.

@Jeff – Thanks for the kind words and for reading!

@goals^n^dreams – FM refers to the Frequent Miler blog.

Thanks Darius! You’re the Reader’s Digest of point Blogs! : )

  9. As of 8/9/13, the 500 free SWA miles posted to my account 🙂

  11. Just to note it, these DID count towards CP status. Just FYI.

    – John…

  12. I subscribed to Dish with the Southwest 12,500 points offer on September 19 — still no points credited. Many, many phone calls to both Dish and Southwest….they are still “looking into it” NOT happy 🙁
