It was nice for all of us to travel to India using miles and points.  This trip wasn’t perfectly planned in the beginning since we had 2 to 3 stopovers on the way back, but United opened up seats on their non-stop flight from Delhi to Newark which made for a much better journey home!

Here’s what’s up for grabs:

    Hi. I’m reading from Dominican Republic, and I’m going to make my very first award trip on june!! I’m so excited, I’m going to Colombia, to dance Vallenato, eat Bandeja Paisa and some aguardiente…. I’m takin my mother with me (this will be her first time boardin and airplane), we’re just fascinating about getting to know another culture! and can’t wait to get use the indian purse!

    I am taking my 15 year old cousin to Paris for her first trip abroad. We are flying for free on miles, but, instead of using my Starwood points for a hotel, we are staying in an apartment so she can get a feel how Parisians live!

    My location is not exotic, but in the grand scheme of things, it’s the best place any Grandma could go – to be with my son and his wife and my first grandson! In Fairbanks Alaska in June. This will be my first visit to Alaska and I’m SOOOO excited!!

    I am following in your honeymoon footsteps with a first class mileage flight on British Airways May 7th 2013 LHR-BOS in seat 2A..I think it will be the revamped seating plan though not sure of that..the honeymoon return flight info about the plane and Heathrow Concorde Club was most helpful

    We (Me and my wife) inspired by your Paris trip last year and all my in laws family(4 in New Jersey and 4 in California ) members met in Atlanta at my brother in law house for free by applying 3 Southwest cards (2 for me and 1 for my wife). Everyone got existed for meeting in Atlanta as we all did not met in India (We are from India). All our family members came to know how to fly free using miles and points at our Atalanta trip.

    By the Inspiration of your India trip, we all are planing to meet in India for free . Hope fully we can fly soon.

    It sounds like you guys had a great trip! I worked in Bangalore for 3 months in 2007. I was able to travel on on the weekends. My favorite was Kerala and spending a day on a house boat on the back waters.
