Update: The reduced award prices are no longer available.
This won’t last long, but via Loyalty Lobby, there are some great rates on Priority Club hotels!
Priority Club hotels include Candlewood Suites, Crowne Plaza, Holiday Inn, Holiday Inn Express, Hotel Indigo, Intercontinental Hotels & Resorts, and Staybridge Suites brand hotels.
For example, the InterContinental in Toronto and Atlanta are all showing availability for only 15,000 Priority Club points compared to the regular rate which is usually 40,000 points!
Loyalty Lobby has a list of hotels which currently have a reduced price. If you’re interested in a hotel, book now, since you can usually always cancel your award for free (but check the specific cancellation policy).
Other hotels besides InterContinental are also showing discounted rates. The Crowne Plazas in Key West, Mexico, Seattle, Washington, DC Beverly Hills look like options worth checking out.
Last year, I was able to get the InterContinental Bora Bora for only 30,000 points instead of 50,000 points during such an event.
You can get Priority Club points by:
- Using Cash & Points to buy points for 0.7 cents per point. However, these may not post in time to take advantage of this deal.
- Transferring Ultimate Rewards points from your Chase Sapphire Preferred, Chase Ink Bold or JP Morgan Select.
Usually, transferring points from Chase Ultimate Rewards to Priority Club is not the best value, but it certainly could make sense for hotels on this list.
Good luck!

I have earned and redeemed millions of airline miles and hotel points to travel the world for free.   Now I'm blogging to help more people do the same!

THANK YOU! This just saved me 45K points from a reservation I had!!!!
Thanks for the update. I just booked 2 nights at the IC in Toronto.
I also saved 45,000 points at Holiday Inn Munich. Sweetness!!
Be Careful about the cancelation policy. I was about to book the ic in Toronto but if you cancel you lose all your points unlike normal
Got one night for 15k at Holiday Inn & Suites near SFO. Perfect.
Lucky @EGWG @Kimmyannangel @Scott S - Glad it worked out! Saving points is always feels nice!
@Heels05 – I booked and later cancelled a stay in summer in Toronto and I got my points back. But the cancellation policy could be different for certain days so thanks for the reminder!
So if we are unsure of our travel date. Now are the cancel policy for CP. or are all cancel the same for IHG.
thank you for the list, just got one room in Toronto for only 10K points!
Booked tentatively IC Toronto Centre for 4 nights in June, cancellation policy states as long as you cancel a day in advance, everything is refunded. Not sure where Heels05 saw that it’s nonrefundable.
I think they went back. I just looked at Orlando and DC – no deal to be had anymore.
Anyone else have any luck. Just checked the InterContinental Atlanta Buckhead and it’s back to 30k. Plus the Key West La Conche(a?) is also not 15k as of now. I almost always read loyalty lobby at night. Figures one time I don’t I miss a deal that would have saved me tons of points!
