Link: 50,000 American Express Business Gold
I just got an email asking me to remove my affiliate links to the 50,000 American Express Business Gold card tomorrow (November 20, 2012) at 5:00 pm EST. Originally, the offer was supposed to run until November 26, 2012, but looks like they changed their minds!
I don’t know if this offer will be available on the American Express website after tomorrow or not. The Chase Ink Bold and Ink Plus both offer 50,000 points after spending $5,000 within 3 months, so reducing the sign-up bonus on the American Express Business Gold card makes it uncompetitive compared to the Chase cards.
The $175 annual fee is waived for the 1st year and you earn:
- 3X points on airfare
2X points on advertising, gas, and shipping
1X points on other purchases
The bonus on this card has been zero points for most of the year, but American Express has run 1-day only offers for 75,000 points, but with a $10,000 minimum spending requirement. The $10,000 minimum spending offer is worth waiting for if you can manage the extra $5,000 in minimum spending.
I wouldn’t go out of my way to apply for this right now if you hadn’t planned to. Credit card offers come and go, and there surely will be new offers.

50k seems too common now. We have to find those 100k offers that Senor Pickles constantly finds. Now thats a nice score.

I just received via email today and offer for AMEX GOLD Biz card for 50,000 points if i spend $5k in 3 months. Offer ends Dec 31, 2012.
I received the 50K points after 5K spend in 3 months offer in the mail today.
Bonus ID: A3K7 expires Feb. 2, 2013.
