$320 Off Any Alitalia Flight = Virtually Free Flights Within Europe! [Not Being Honored]

Don’t forget to follow me on  Facebook or Twitter!

Update:  Alitalia is not honoring flights booked with the $320 discount.  However the 25% discount still appears to be working.

Via The Flight Deal, you *may* be able to get $320 off any Alitalia flight when you use the Japanese Alitalia site.  This means that you could book flights within Europe for free or close to free, or save $320 on flights elsewhere.

Of course, there’s is a high chance that these fares will NOT be honored, so I wouldn’t make other non-refundable travel arrangements until we know that the fares will be honored.  This appears to be valid for travel between November 5, 2012 to March 7, 2013.

Separately, The Points Guy writes about a 25% discount on the US Alitalia site, which means that you can fly from New York to Madrid for $470 roundtrip!

  1. Has anyone had success with this promotion?

  2. I managed to book a flight using the promo but the ticket hasn’t been issued yet I don’t think. Last time I booked a flight on Alitalia.com with my DL # the ticket showed up on delta.com immediately (booked on US site with 15% discount).

  3. There have been several blogosphere feeding frenzies lately over “deals” that turned out to vanish in thin air. In this case the skepticism is pretty clearly highlighted in the text, but I agree that these tickets are unlikely to be honored.

  4. @BobChi – Looks like this isn’t being honored either. So onto the next opportunity…

  5. Nothing to do with the fares……love your new look!

  6. Yesterday I booked using the code on .jp site and flew CDG-FCO!
I got in before the ticket was cancelled!!
Then I woke up and I was still in my boring usual life…..
