View From the Wing writes that Milepoint Premium is available again.
In my opinion, the $59 fee pays for itself with just:
- 2,000 free United miles
- Free Hyatt Platinum Status up to February 2014 (or 2,000 Hyatt points if you’re already an elite member)
- Free GoGo 24 hour wifi internet pass
- Discounts to paid award searching tools
If you’re thinking of applying for the Hyatt credit card, remember that Hyatt Platinum members who apply for the card get 2 suite upgrades certificates for paid stays. This is in addition to the 2 free nights in a regular room.
So it could make sense to sign-up for Milepoint Premium and to get Hyatt Platinum status.
That way, you will get 2 suite upgrade certificates to use with paid stays, if you apply for the Hyatt credit card before February 2014 when your free Hyatt platinum status expires.
PS: I’m on vacation so I won’t be able to get to the comments and email soon.
