44,000 Bonus Club Carlson Points for 1 Park Inn Hotel Stay – Registration Open

Don’t forget to follow me on Facebook or Twitter!

I wrote earlier that Club Carlson is running three separate promotions which together could net you 138,000+ Club Carlson points.

The Radisson and Country Inn & Suites promotion registration opened last week and you can still register for a spot to get 50,000 bonus points  and 44,000 bonus points after a 1 night hotel stay.

And registration for a similar promotion by Park Inn opened for registration yesterday.

The 1st 20,000 people to register will get 44,000 bonus points after they complete a Park Inn hotel stay by July 22, 2012.

Unfortunately, there are only 10 Park Inn hotels in the US, but far more locations outside the US.

Here’s a list of the US Park Inns:

  • Albuquerque, NM
  • Dallas, TX (Love Field airport)
  • Dallas, TX (Dallas Forth Worth airport)
  • Fresno, CA
  • Harrisburg, PA
  • Houston, TX
  • Sault Ste. Marie, MI
  • Sharon, PA
  • Toledo, OH
  • Tulsa, OK

There’s a Park Inn in Toledo, Ohio, so perhaps we’ll visit Emily’s grandmother again.  And of course, we’ll get granny her own room!

Bottom Line:  The Club Carlson promotions is a great way to rack up points for hotel stays which you’ve already got planned.

And it could even make sense to go out of your way to stay at a Radisson, Country Inn & Suites, and Park Inn just for the bonus points if you know you can use those points later on to save money on hotel stays.

  1. D – do you know of any good sites (like ita but for hotels) that let you look at rates over a month or so. Would be very useful if you wanted to do a mattress run but didn’t care about dates.

  2. @aptsea - Travelocity used to have a calendar view of hotel prices, but it may not be working any more. I’d ask Ric at Loyalty Traveler if he knows of any good sites.

  3. Quite the eclectic list of cities…..

  4. The southwest links dont work that means its all over

  5. @Chris – Indeed!

@Mark – It seems like it, but I’m hoping new 50K links surface soon.

  6. For rates over a period of time, just enter your arrival and departure dates accordingly. Say you want to find the cheapest rate at a location between May 25 and June 10. Enter your arrival date as May 25 and your departure as June 10, and you’ll easily see a list of what the rate is each day in between.

  7. I need to close my chase s card this week, can i get the ba carc even i closed it around a year ago?

  8. Wow, wonder what happened to the Park Inn in Edina MN?

  9. ^ Never mind, it’s a Park Plaza. I’m surprised Park Plaza stays don’t count towards the Park Inn promo.

  10. Is it confirmed whether or not you actually need to stay, or can you just check in? I’m going to travel to ABQ this week to get a stay at a Park Inn, but I’ll be spending the night in the Homewood.

  11. @DaveS – Great tip! Thanks for sharing.

@Matt MSP - Perhaps they will do another promo for Park Plaza?

@Casey Friday – I’m not sure, but it couldn’t hurt to call and let them know that you left because you were in a hurry.

  12. As an FYI – I just confirmed with Club Carlson on twitter that they will status match. You can e-mail documentation to CCare@carlsonrezidor.com. As both a SPG Gold and HHonors Golf, I was told I’d be matched to Club Carlson Silver, which has the following perks:

    Complimentary room upgrades as available
25% point bonus on every eligible stay
2,000 point online booking bonus at clubcarlson.com or any Carlson Rezidor hotel website
Early check-ins and late checkouts as available upon request
Roll Over Nights (unused elite-qualifying nights count again next year toward elite status)
    Elite Customer Service Line

  13. @Mile Collector - That’s a great way to rack up extra points and get upgraded during your stay.
