Don’t forget to follow me on Facebook or Twitter!
Million Mile Secrets reader Joey (thanks!) emailed me to let me know that you can earn 100 Starwood hotel points by liking them on Facebook. Don’t forget to enter your SPG number in the form after liking them on Facebook to get your 100 points.
You can also like Million Mile Secrets while you’re at it too!
These type of promotions don’t last long, so I’d like Starwood sooner rather than later.
I’ll “unlike” Starwood once my points post, just in case they have a similar promotion later on!

100 points may not seem like a lot, but they are free! And you can do this for everyone in your household.

I have earned and redeemed millions of airline miles and hotel points to travel the world for free.   Now I'm blogging to help more people do the same!

Where is the form for getting the 100 PTs? Thanks
any minimum for transferring to airliens? i.e. can u transfer 100 starwood for 50 ua?
@webazoid, it is 2,500 minimum for most people.
SPG site says “There is no minimum Starpoint transfer requirement for Platinum members with most airlines. Gold members have a minimum transfer requirement of 1,500 Starpoints, and Preferred members have a minimum transfer requirement of 2,500 Starpoints”.
Transfer is 1:1 ration to most airlines except United which is only 2:1 (half). Also there is a bonus of 5,000 miles if you trans fer 20,000 SPG points. For example 20,000 Starpoints get you 25,000 AA miles.
@lee – Click on the link and scroll down and you’ll see the form.
@Frank – Thanks for helping out!
Would these 100 pts reset your point expiration date for spg account? Or credit card spend / hotel stay required for expiration date change?
@MYRflyer – I suspect they do, because they say “your Starpoints never expire as long as you show account activity once a year.“
offer expired
@Michael – Thanks! I’ve updated the post.
I have a question, please help
Can I ask a friend help me to book a room for me (he is not going with me) though cash+point option?
@Jinwei – Your friend can book you a room using his SPG points.
Thanks for prompt response!
Does my friend need to call custom service to do so or just do it online? it doesn’t matter if he is no-show, right?
I got the answer, both ways are fine. thanks
Hi Darius,
I applied for the SPG card using your referral link and while I received my 10k bonus miles on first purchase, I didn’t get the remaining 15k miles after the 5k spend. I spoke to the Amex rep and she claims that the application that I applied for only qualifies me for the 10k first purchase bonus. Unfortunately, I didn’t take a screenshot of the application. Anything I can do to get the remaining 15k miles?
Thanks!
@nemesis – Sometimes folks who have accessed a previous AMEX offer or who are logged into their AMEX account get only the 10K offer, but signing out, clearing cookies or using a different browser should help. Since you’ve already applied, you can take a screen shot of the current offer and send AMEX a secure message asking for the 15K points. Good luck!
Thanks Darius. I’ll give that a shot.
