1.   2,000 Free Priority Club Hotel Points.   Via Heels First, you can get:

The terms say that you have to sign-up by May 31, 2012.

Priority Club often has hotels in their Points Break list which cost only 5,000 points a night.

2.   1,000 Free Priority Club Hotel Points.  Via The Traveler’s Loophole, you can get 1,000 Priority Club points for signing up for text messages & registering a Visa credit card by May 31, 2012.I wrote about this last year when they were offering only 500 points.  You have to be a new enrollee to qualify for the 1,000 points, so you may not get the points if you already enrolled last year.

You can get an extra 5,000 points if you stay at a Priority Club hotel by July 31, 2012 and pay with the same Visa card with which you registered.

3.   2,000 Free Club Carlson Hotel Points.  Via The Points Guy, you can earn 4,500 Club Carlson hotel points if you sign up for an account and use promotion code ERWD2012.

Update:  You can get 2,000 Free Points when you sign up for an account and use promotion code NSB2K12 (thanks, InfamousDX).

This offer is for new members only and you must enroll by May 31, 2012.  Club Carlson will soon have a promotion where you can likely earn 44,000 to 50,000 points if you stay for 1 night at ANY Raddison or Country Inn & Suites hotel.

Free nights start at 9,000 points, so it doesn’t hurt to sign-up for the free 4,500 points even if you don’t plan on taking part in their upcoming promotion.

  1. 4,500 Free Club Carlson Hotel Points: Will the points be expired or not? is it the same with priorityclub?

  2. Thanks for the heads-up! Anyone else have trouble getting the confirmation text message that you need to enter? Everything else went great, but for the text messaging one, at the end, it is supposed to send you a text with a number to enter — and I haven’t gotten it (been 10+ minutes). I’ll wait and see what comes — but just curious if anyone else had issues. My guess is that a bunch of people may be signing up for this and their text sending is behind, but that is just a guess…

    – John…

  3. Nevermind my previous message. I did the “resend” request and got the new text almost immediately.

happy9z: Priority Club points do not expire. Not sure on Club Carlson.

    – John…

  4. Ok — I checked — the official terms say this for Club Carlson points: ” Gold Points® do not have an expiration date as long as your account remains active by earning or redeeming within a 24 month period.”

So, they do not expire as long as you earn some more within 24 months.

(Sorry for the 3 posts in a row!)

    – John…

  5. anyway to convert these to AA or UA Miles? instructions?

  6. I signed up for 1,500 PC points a few weeks ago and haven’t received them yet, and I’ve read of others that have already received their points.

  7. I signed up for the Priority Club points too, maybe about a week ago, and I haven’t received them yet either.

  8. @All,
I signed up yesterday but I don’t see the points in my account. Any idea as to when I can expect the 4,500 points in my club carlson account?

Thanks in advance for your inputs.

  9. I figured it out. Got my 4500 points and converted 4000 of the points to 500 UA miles.

“You redeemed 4,000 pts for 500 UA-UNITED MileagePlus miles transferred to Frequent Flyer “

  10. what are priority points good for?

  11. how long should it take the ClubCarlson points to show up? I finally managed to register last night, but 0 points.

  12. i signed on 5/3 and got the points on 5/8.

  13. you aren’t alone John, I can’t get it to send me the text message either, tried 2 phones.

  14. I signed up my older kids(above 20) for the Club Carlson deal. The accounts say they are restricted. Any idea what that means.

  15. i got the restricted thing as well for one of my sons-my other one got thru ok but no points after a month.

  16. On various forums, there are a few people that mentioned that they were temporarily restricted, but then they later got the points and it seemed to correct itself. So, maybe just wait it out.

My GUESS is that they notice multiple new accounts from the same IP and mark them to be manually checked to make sure one person isn’t just creating a bunch of new accounts.

    – John…

    • @Jean @adamu – I’d wait a bit and see if the points post. I agree with John… that it could be an internal control against opening too many accounts.

@John… – Thanks for helping out!

  17. Darius, couple of questions. I put my husband on the United Explorer card to get the 5,000 points. Do I have to activate his card to get the 5,000 or are they automatically put into my acct? Also, do you know if the 80,000 piority club link is still active?

  18. I can’t get that ERWD2012 code to work today, signing up my husband for Club Carlson account.

  19. I just tried the ERWD2012 today and it is not working. It worked yesterday.

  20. i cannot get the ERWD2012 code to work. hate to keep repeating everyone’s complaint, but I’m waiting to sign up if I can get those bonus sign-up points!

  21. Where is the link to sign up for cruise email? I cant find it via the link above.

  22. No confirmation on the cruise points?

  24. I’ve signed up for the Priority Club bonus points (for shopping, dining, cruise). I can’t seem to find where to ‘manage’ those preferences when logged in to myPC account. Anyone have any experience with this?

  25. DJ: I think you do most of that here: http://priorityclub.rewardsnetwork.com/

At least, that is where you can configure the cards that qualify for the Dining bonuses and such, so the dining stuff is there.

Then the shopping stuff is here: http://www.priorityclubshopping.com/

It is a bit funny — because they are separate sites, but they are still connected behind the scenes. For example, if you register a credit card on the DINING side of things — then it automatically shows up on the SHOPPING side of things. But, they are still separate sites when you want to actually go DO things (like find a place to ship or eat).

  26. I still haven’t received my points from Priority Club. Has anyone else had their points post?

  27. I have not had mine either.

  28. I have not received any of my priority club points either and I did the four 500 point offers for 2000 points total. I just called in and the rep claims they do not have a record of the promotions. Did anyone out there take a screen shot of the offer that could help us that did not get the point?

    Thanks In Advance

  29. I got the 4,500 points credited with a May first week date – even though they were posted only 2 days ago..

In anycase – I’m thankful to you all for these additional points 🙂

Do you know if the Club Carlson points have an expiration date?

Thanks in advance for your kind response.

  30. Thanks for the update, Darius.

  31. I meant to say
Thanks for the link, Darius 🙂

  32. Hello, I am not sure if anyone will respond since the thread is old…
I have some points in priority club (from staying at a hotel) and some pts from priority dining club. I have looked in both accounts and cannot find any option to combine pts. Any ideas? If one can’t combine pts where would one use the priority dining club points? Thanks.

  33. Ladies & Gentlemen.

I have recently booked the following hotels:

    1. Radisson Dubai, Reservation Number, 24394217
    2. Radisson Amsterdam, Reservation Number, 24402269

And I was trying to make use of my 23,874 miles to book with 5000 + daily rate or 10,000 + daily rate for my hotel in Beijing.

It keeps saying that my account would be restricted / that I wouldn’t have enough miles to book at a Park Hotels. (I only have one account and in my family no one else is traveling!)

Can you please let me know what I’m not doing right here?
